About Capt. Ernie Celotto Jr.

A U.S. Coastguard Licensed boat captain since 1980, fishing and operating power boats is in Ernie’s DNA. Before he could drive a car, Ernie worked as a deckhand for his father, Capt. Ernest William Celotto.

Ernie lost his father to lung cancer in 2001, but ever since then to the present day, he has been either working or running a fishing boat in local CT, RI, and NY waters.

Currently, Ernie has reached a point in life where he can own and operate his own charter fishing boat. In 2000, he purchased Reel One In and with his knowledge of boat building, diesel mechanics, and the help of local friends he has completely retrofitted the entire vessel to make it one of the nicest boats available to charter in Southeastern Connecticut.

With a lifetime of experience, local knowledge, and a passion for offshore fishing, you could not hope for a better captain to show you a great time on the water.
